This new name and logo better represent our desire to build a movement of organizations who want to have positive impact at scale ‘via mobile.’ With this re-branding, we want to share our commitment to a new goal: We want to be in communication with more than 100 million people per year by 2021. We are well on our way there and are tracking nicely towards this target.
Secondly, we now have an expanded management team. Through the process of working closely with our partner Human Network International (HNI) over the last few years, we are proud to announce that a number of their key staff have decided to join Viamo. This includes David McAfee as Viamo’s new Chief Executive Officer, as well as Sally Hughes and Kellen Eilerts who are Viamo’s Regional Directors for West & Central Africa, and East & Southern Africa respectively.
This is a tremendously valuable upgrade to Viamo’s management team which still includes Viamo’s founding members: Mark Boots as our Chief Technology Officer, Levi Goertz as our Chief Products & Services Officer and Louis Dorval as our Chief Operating Officer. We are also currently looking to recruit a Chief Financial Officer.
Finally, the deepening of our relationship with HNI — now headed by Alex Miller — means that Viamo can now offer our current and future partners the combined suite of services from Viamo and HNI.
These services include: mobile surveys, the 3-2-1 Service, digital forms and other custom communication services. Viamo now has representation in 26 countries. These include: Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Canada, DRC, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
